What is an omelette patty?
The Omelette Patty was concocted by Cocotine’s chefs for the fast food world: a plain, gourmet omelette so restaurants can diversify their menu and delight every diner’s taste buds.
Nearly half of French households (49% according to a recent Kantar World Panel study) include at least one flexitarian. The Omelette Patty is a product which meets the current trend towards flexitarianism.
It is rich in protein (4.4 grams per 40 g omelette), essential fatty acids and micronutrients, giving commercial and institutional chefs a simple way to offer vegetarian options that will meet their diners’ nutritional needs.

Our Omelette Patty were designed to simplify the lives of chefs at high-volume venues. They come frozen, in packs of 100 patties that are easy to store and can be kept for up to 18 months.
Quick and easy to prepare, they have all the fluffiness and flavour of a quality plain omelette.
To reheat them, nothing could be simpler: 3 minutes in the microwave or 20 minutes in a combination steam oven or warming cabinet at 150°C.

Recipe
Egg & Bacon Bagel
- Wash some lettuce leaves and a tomato.
- Cut the tomato into thin slices.
- Lightly brown the bacon in an ungreased non-stick pan.
- Toast the bread in the oven for a few minutes at 180°C.
- Reheat the Omelette Patty in the oven at 150°C or in the microwave.
- Spread tartar sauce onto the bagel.
- Dress the bagel with a few lettuce leaves, the Omelette Patty, the grilled bacon and the tomato slices.
- Serve hot.
