Pasteurised liquid egg

Pasteurised eggs in liquid form – whites, yolks or whole eggs – are ideal solutions for saving time and reducing the handling of eggs in the kitchen. Pasteurisation guarantees optimal food safety, whilst promising an extended shelf life. Easily portionable cartons of liquid egg white can lower food wastage when preparing a recipe that doesn’t require the yolks, like macarons, meringues or soufflés. You get the same benefits from our liquid egg yolk: whether fresh or frozen, this product is essential for making great sauces and velvety creams of all kinds, without having to toss the part of the egg that you don’t need.

Egg spray

Cocotine’s egg spray provides for rapid, even, contactless glazing of baked goods and puff pastries in need of browning. Forget about brushes and unappetising drips: just spritz our sweet egg spray on your products from 50 centimetres away. With a single can, you can safely glaze up to 300 croissants, chocolate croissants, brioches and so on!

 

Cocotine’s commitments to responsible, respectful products

At Cocotine, the quality of our liquid egg relies on a value chain that we control and on agricultural practices that are respectful of the environment and animal welfare. All our products are made from 100% French eggs, laid by hens that were born and raised in France. Our co-op farmers, who are all transitioning to alternative (cage-free) farming methods, ensure that their laying hens enjoy living conditions that are superior to those of caged hens. For example, the birds at our animal well-fare cage-free farms enjoy exposure to daylight and access to a safe outdoor space and an enriched habitat that encourages them to engage in natural behaviours. Our other farms are split between free-range and organic.

When you opt for Cocotine’s pasteurised liquid egg products, you are supporting responsible production. Our egg products are processed close to the farms, to limit the need for transport and minimise our carbon footprint. In addition, our sustainable development policy includes initiatives like utilising optimised packaging and recycling used materials.
