Description

Cocotine’s fried eggs

Fried eggs, or “sunny side up” eggs, are fried in a hot pan. When perfectly prepared, fried eggs have creamy yolks and soft but firm whites. They are a traditional part of French cuisine, which can be enjoyed in different variations for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even dinner.

Cocotine’s Frozen Fried Eggs don’t require any special preparation or elaborate techniques. Their yolks and whites are cooked perfectly evenly, and the taste is delicious.

Advantages of our Fried Eggs

When used in vegetarian and other recipes, Cocotine Fried Eggs are a delight to one and all (adults, children, seniors, vegetarians and flexitarians). The whites are rich in protein, and the yolks deliver antioxidants, vitamins and essential fatty acids. Like milk, butter and cream, eggs are a terrific fit in any vegetarian recipe.

For example, they can be served atop a classic croque madame sandwich or a summer vegetable shakshuka, or even on toast with a side of mushrooms pan-fried in butter and accompanied by a cream sauce.

All our frozen fried eggs are free-range or animal welfare cage-free eggs laid in France.

Recipe

Fried Eggs | Cocotine

Pesto Veggie Burger

  • Spread the pesto on both sides of the hamburger bun.
  • Place the rocket leaves, grated carrots, sliced aubergine, cheddar cheese and fried eggs on the bottom bun and then cap it off with the top bun.
  • Bake in the oven for 5 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the burgers are nice and hot.

Tip: You can customise this recipe and adapt it by adding tartar sauce or a cream-based sauce. You can also switch up the vegetables, for example by adding a slice of fresh tomato or some raw or cooked mushrooms. Make your recipe and use a different kind of cheese, such as mozzarella, which goes great with pesto.
